How to Create Sustainable Joy

Caring for your “inside” is just as important as taking care of your “outside.”

As we spend time on our outer selves, I want to offer a friendly reminder to invest in your inner self, too.

We can look good on the outside and pretend we’ve got it all together, or do the required work to both look good and genuinely feel good about ourselves and our lives.

Consider life coaching, therapy, podcasts, sermons, books, masterclasses, YouTube videos, documentaries, etc., as a means to address what’s going on inside so it can be reflected on your outside.

The truth is these things take more work. It takes less effort  to get our nails or hair done than it does to read a self-help book or journal. We have to deal with our stuff when we self-reflect, and that’s not always easy or comfortable.

But the thing is, doing the internal work can create sustainable internal joy some of us may not otherwise experience consistently. Be empowered in this life you get to live by taking action. You gotta work for it!
